As Founder of this fantastic App, what was your motivation to create such an App?
LS: “My motivation was personal frustration. I was tired of always asking my friends the same questions when I travel (and having them ask me the same things) and thought that there could be a better way to do everything.”
Why should Users download this App?
LS: “Users should download this app if they are passionate about travel or trying new places and want a better way to explore.”
What are the advantages compared to other similar App’s?
LS: “Our App has focus, clarity, and uniqueness that make it different from any other platform that currently exists.”
Can you tell something about the process, challenges, hurdles and time speny from the moment you start (The Idea) till the moment you launched the App at the AppStore / GooglePlay?
LS: “The biggest challenge was finding technical cofounders to build the app because I am not technical myself. The other main challenge was having my cofounders as part time while I worked on it full time and simply trying to manage my expectations regarding the timing of launch.”
Once you launched the App in the Appstore / GooglePlay, what did you do to promote this App to your target audience (user group)?
LS: “We will launch on the Appstore in May”
You as a visionair, what is your view on the new technologies of the digital smartphone (App) world. Do you think that within 1 to 5 years App’s will be indispensable?
LS: “I think App’s will continue to be very important, but eventually voice commands will be given a heightened role. Not having to open and navigate an App and simply speak is easily a heightened user experience.”
Are you currently (still) looking for investments or funds to finalise or optimize your App?
LS: “We will start looking for funding/investments in the end of the summer.”
Wat is the business model of the App (how does the App earns money?) Think of advertisements, premium subscriptions in the App etc?
LS: “Data and advertisements”
Last but not least is there anything you want to recommend other creators/founders?
LS: “It’s all about persistence. If I had a nickel for everytime someone told me “it’s already been done” or how it “wont work”, I’d prolly have two or three dollars.”
