Q & A:
As Founder of this fantastic App, what was your motivation to create such an App?
“As founders of Pairi, we want to enact positive change within the community, starting with the student population in America. As college students ourselves, we understand the struggle between paying off student loans and balancing a full courseload everyday. Many students strive to make a future for themselves, and Pairi wishes to help students out financially while allowing them to make a difference in the community around them.”
Why should Users download this App?
“There are two types of users in our application. On one end, you have people who are willing and motivated to do tasks, such as the student population, who should download this application as a great and easy way to make money while balancing a full school schedule. On the other end, both the student and local community around campus can request tasks for considerably less money and are guaranteed to a safe and efficient environment of workers who care about their community.”
What are the advantages compared to other similar App’s?
“Our direct competition include applications such as Thumbtack, Taskrabbit, and Craigslist. Pairi has an advantage in four different categories. Pairi targets young adults as their major worker demographic, as compared to much older targeted demographics of our competition. Pairi is a mobile application designed to create a safe and easy to use environment, incorporating natural language processing and ID checking system to flag down illegal activity and suspicious users. Pairi implements a swiping interface that is popular with its target demographic, making it easy to use and limits clutter for users of all ages. On top of a five star rating system and a three strike policy for cancelled tasks, Pairi is planning to implement a positive reward system of cash bonuses to benefit student workers all across the world.”
Can you tell something about the process, challenges, hurdles and time spent from the moment you start (The Idea) till the moment you launched the App at the AppStore / GooglePlay?
“The biggest hurdle in the beginning was development. After conversing with many developers and mobile application companies, there were none that fit our original vision and budget. The plan was to survey and receive as much feedback as possible about our idea to testing out the market and see if it is ready for our product. Our minimum viable product was then built by WVE labs for a much discounted price after we came up with some original wireframes and designs. We were able to raise money from friends and family in the beginning and split the cost between our three founders to hire a lawyer on retainer and incorporate it from the get-go. We are currently in our alpha testing phase, and have internal users testing it for bug and technical fixes before the eventual launch in March, 2017.”
Once you launched the App in the Appstore / GooglePlay, what did you do to promote this App to your target audience (user group)? Do you think Applepies (as worldwide rating and reviewing Online App Magazine) can have a certain role in this?
“Does not apply, as we are still currently testing the app and market.”
You as a visionair, what is your view on the new technologies of the digital smartphone (App) world. Do you think that within 1 to 5 years App’s will be indispensable?
“According to Forbes, the he current yearly revenue generated by the sharing market is estimated to be more than $15b, and is projected to grow over the next decade to $300b. We believe that within 1-5 years Pairi can grow to be one of the most used and needed marketplace for tasks and freelance work in the market. The technology world is only going to become bigger, and we want to be help be part of its exponential growth.”
Last but not least is there anything you want to recommend other creators/founders?
“Piari wants to recommend that all visionairs and creators to test out the product market first before investing any money in their product as to save both money and time.”
